Apple Archive Utility
The Apple Archive Utility comes preinstalled in macOS and is the default application to open archives and compressed files. It supports a variety of compression algorithms and can expand and compress them to and from those formats.
Moreover, users can also control where a compressed file is saved and where the extracted content is stored through the Archive Utility application.
