Google Docs
Google Docs is part of the cloud-based Google Workspace suite and is very much similar to Microsoft Word. It offers a plethora of tools offered by Word, plus you can access your files and documents from anywhere, using any platform, with your Google account.
Users of Google Docs can create documents using templates, access pre-existing DOCX and.ODT files, format text and page layout, add tables and photos, and verify the grammar and spelling of their work. Moreover, users can open and edit the same document simultaneously and work in collaboration.
Although Docs lacks some of Word’s most sophisticated features, such as full-featured macro support, Google constantly updates Docs with additional functionality as it is an online tool.
