Google Earth
Google Earth is an online service and an application (Google Earth Pro) used to view the geographic terrain, imagery, and very-real maps of the planet Earth. The web version can be accessed using any web browser, whilst the Pro application can be installed on Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
Earth can be viewed from a number of angles, including from space and from the ground up. You can fly through 3D cities, view GPS tracks, and study Earth’s geography.
One of the more sophisticated features is the ability to map addresses using the app’s spreadsheet importer, import vector image files to map GIS data, and use data layers to find a target population. The program’s measuring capabilities allow you to compute distances and areas, and you may also print high-resolution photos from the application.
