Google Maps
Google Maps is a web-based application that allows you to view Earth around you from space, see real-time traffic details, and guide you from point A to point B using GPS. Some might consider Google Maps and Google Earth as 2 sides to a coin.
However, there are a few differences between the 2 applications. Unlike Google Earth, Google Maps allows you to share location and receive navigation directions whilst traveling from one place to another. Moreover, Maps provide more detailed information about your surrounding as compared to Google Earth.
Google Maps now comes bundled with Android, but can also be installed on other operating systems.
