LibreOffice
LibreOffice is a complete suite solution similar to Microsoft Office. It offers different programs to handle different file formats. For example; Writer is used as a word processor, an alternative to Microsoft Word; Calc is used to create and edit spreadsheets, an alternative to Microsoft Excel.
LibreOffice also consists of other programs to cater to vector graphics, presentation slides, mathematical equations, and database management. However, not all functions and tools inside LibreOffice are the same as Microsoft Office.
